Two cups of coffee and a can of redbull in a day. Feels like I’m trapped in some mindless rat race. Someone please remind me again, what am I fighting for exactly?

Had a sudden revelation few weeks ago and decided that I shall beat the norm of a SMU business student and not major in Finance. Really wasn’t an easy decision, thought long and hard. But I figured that theres no point pursuing something just cause 1) everybody is doing it 2) thats where all the money is (or so people think) 3) it makes you look smart.  
If I were to take my Finance midterm score as a benchmark, I’m really just average. And majoring in something that I’m mediocre at, just because of the above few reasons? Thanks, but no thanks. In the end, my starting pay will pretty much be tied to my GPA anyway, one of those sad realities of life. 

I already have random bouts of “wtf am I doing in business school” in this 1.5 years that I’ve been here so I really should pursue something that I’m truly interested in now. Not just something that will make me look oh-so-impressive. 

On a separate note, time seems to be passing at an exponential rate. Its quite scary, considering that I’ve reached the big two oh. It may sound far-fetched but……marriage and having kids aren’t THAT far away. Like how I think that my Sister was in Uni not too long ago but she’s reached that stage in life where shes applying for a flat and all. Scary :O

2 things that I can’t wait to be over and done with, my 5 final exams and …okay I shall only talk about the other when its actually over.

And I think I really need to sleep now. I’ll probably do the same thing again when Eric gives me a wake-up call again tmr- tell him to go to school first and I’ll make my way down much later. Typical.
